The Quarter-Centenarian: new single-track release

In a beginning effort not to hold onto music for very long before i send it out the window, a new single-track release from h,hg is available entitled The Quarter-Centenarian which was recorded, mixed and mastered in August and September here in Brooklyn.

You can download a regular-quality version of the track, for free, or choose to download the high-quality version for one dollar. Both are available at our bandcamp site.

Hungry, Hungry Ghost (still as a death-defying electric one-piece with glorious backing and triumphant glories in music accomplishment) will be playing during New York's CMJ Festival this year at The Living Room in Manhattan on October 23rd at 9 p.m.

Also playing throughout the day are the following peeps:

Kim Taylor, Annie and the Beekeepers, The Punch Brothers, Matt Duke, Michal, The Love Language, Lost in the Trees, The Uglysuit and Papertrigger.

taking a break from the self-karaoke scene, i have been making a couple songs in the past month, both of which will hopefully appear either electronically or concretely published in the near future.

one is a cover version of a song by a recently deceased mega star and the other is a new original track.

other than that, please send me your money in exchange for a glistening copy of our debut album plus EP, Sleeping English + Cycloptic Myopia, or buy it on itunes or somewhere else or download it from your friend and share it with your family.

The release of the Sleeping English/Cycloptic Myopia album is currently set to be released on or around May 19th on Infinite Best Recordings and is comprised of our 2007 debut album Sleeping English and a brand new four-song EP, Cycloptic Myopia.

Artwork for the latter has been provided by Elizabeth Sargent and can be seen in a larger format here.

Sleeping English Re-release + NEW EP

Within the next month or so, we will be re-releasing our debut album Sleeping English for the North American market via our new label, Infinite Best. This re-release is coupled with a digital four-track EP made up of brand new material, which will be packaged alongside Sleeping English.

The new EP, entitled Cycloptic Myopia, was recorded between November and February in Brooklyn and Berlin and the artwork is being done, as always, by the dear Lizzy Sargent and will be posted here very shortly.

More fine details soon.
